RNA Analytics presented ‘IFRS 17 Implementation case in Korea’ at AICT seminar in Taipei

RNA Analytics successfully shared their IFRS 17 implementation experience in a Korean insurance company at the Actuarial Institute of Chinese Taipei (AICT) seminar held on 4th Oct 2018, Taipei. At this event, over 150 of attendees were related to actuarial, finance, risk control, and the Taipei insurance industry.

Due to the insurance industry in Taipei facing difficulties in implementing IFRS 17, this seminar focused not only on the data and system implementation challenges under IFRS 17 implementation but also introduced a solution to the Taipei Insurance industry.

Dr Kyusuh Park (Vice president, RNA Analytics & CEO, RNA Financial Academy) shared his experience of the Korean insurance industry in implementing the IFRS 17 system, as well as the key issues faced by Korean insurers to support companies in Taipei that are planning to adopt IFRS 17. Also, RNA Analytics’ key software ‘R³S Software Suite’ was introduced with Korean case studies to the attendees which brought positive feedback.

We hope that through this event there is raised awareness of IFRS 17 in Taipei and the participants of the seminar gained a better understanding of IFRS 17.
