R³S Software Suite 4.2 Release

RNA Analytics has released version 4.2 of the R³S Software Suite, building on the success of previous releases. This new software release focuses on the connectivity, performance, and functionality of the software suite, enhancing the overall user experience. Like the previous releases, 4.2 has been developed following the ever-changing market requirements and incorporates input from R³S users worldwide. The new enhancements provide more useful functionality for modelers and further options to integrate with other systems.

Version 4.2 brings many new enhancements, such as allowing ODBC and OCI connections for all database inputs. This allows users to read inputs and assumptions using ODBC directly, or with the R³S Enterprise option to use OCI to connect to Oracle databases. Trusted authentication is now an option when connecting to R³S Manager, so the credentials of the current logged on windows user can be used automatically.

As part of the Enterprise option license, the build phase of a model can be distributed to a remote machine. This allows large and complex models to be distributed to a dedicated build server to perform the generation, compilation, and linking stages. There has also been enhancements to the output from the Profiling run type to show more areas where time is being taken.

Enhancements in R³S Modeler include the ability to export a user workspace from any other workspace type, as well as improvements to compare and the inheritance analyzer.

This release also includes enhancements in R³S Development Manager, such as new visualization of all properties on components and the ability to see the differences in a changesets and pending changes in a Sandbox.

"Version 4.2 of the R³S Software Suite reflects our commitment to continuously evolve and meet the needs of our users. By integrating feedback from our global clients, we've introduced significant enhancements that improve connectivity, performance, and overall functionality. We're excited to see how these new features will empower our users to achieve greater efficiency in their modeling and integration tasks."
